Symptoms:
Beginning symptoms of catching a cold, successive sneezing, a little bit increased temperature or beginning of fever (if it is not too high yet), running nose (if it’s running like water, not snivel), headache, low spirit, red tongue with no feeling of taste.
Ingredients:
30 g chives together with roots
15 g preserved black beans (mild, the best if it’s not salty)
50 ml white wine
400 ml water
How to prepare the soup:
Wash the beans and chives well. Put beans in the pot (the best is a clay pot, if you don’t have it use what you have), add cold water and bring it to boil. Boil 5 minutes then add chives (you don’t need to cut them, add whole chives with roots). Continue boiling for another 5 minutes. At the end add wine and turn off the fire. Strain and drink water as a soup.
How to use it:
Prepare and drink hot twice a day, 2 to 3 days in a row.
When NOT to use the soup:
When your throat is swollen and hurts, if your mouth feels very dry and bitter.
