Symptoms:
Dry cough because of cold, feeling cold, headache.
Ingredients:
15-20 g mandarin skin (fresh)
10-15 g ginger
50-100 g rice (the best is polished glutinous rice)
1000 ml water
How to prepare the soup:
Wash mandarin skin and ginger. Put all in the pot, add water and bring it to boil. When starts boiling put fire on small and continue boiling for 5 minutes. Turn off and remove mandarin skin and ginger. Wash rice and put it in the water that ginger and mandarin had been cooking in. Cook until the porridge is done (so that the rice is very soft or overcooked). Eat hot.
How to use it:
Eat hot, 1 to 2 times per day. Continue eating for five days.
When NOT to use the soup:
You just use it if you are coughing because of being cold (for example catching a cold because of cold weather,…), don’t use it if you are coughing because of other reasons.
